Welcome to the IPMA-HR Central Region website!

It is a pleasure to be your President of the IPMA-HR Central Region.  I am very excited to serve in this role over the next 12 months.

I am proud to be a part IPMA-HR, the leading public sector human resource organization in the world, and an organization that represents the interests of human resource professionals at all levels and promoting excellence in human resources management.

During the next year, I will be working with the new Central Region Board to:

  • Deliver another outstanding training program as part of the 83rd IPMA-HR Central Region Training Conference. The 2019 conference will be held in Dayton, OH at the Marriott at the University of Dayton Hotel from June 1 to June 5.
  • Continue to work with the Central Region Chapter Presidents and IPMA-HR Leadership to identify opportunities to strengthen chapters that are currently struggling.
  •  Foster communication between the chapters to share ideas and resources for chapter meetings.
  • Work to achieve our 501c3 status.

The Central Region Chapter of IPMA-HR is an affiliate of the International Public Management Association for Human Resources (IPMA-HR), a nonprofit and educational organization, committed to the advancement of the public sector by providing HR professionals with key education and training opportunities, valuable resources and assessment products, and effective advocacy at every level of government.  IPMA-HR represents more than 9,000 individuals and 1,100 agencies at the local, state, and federal levels of government worldwide.  IPMA-HR is comprised of four U.S. regions and more than 42 affiliate chapters that operate independently and provide members with professional resources and events and career advancement opportunities.
